In 1987, when India’s construction industry had no unified benchmark for waterproofing, MK Dhawan made a decision that would reshape the industry for decades. He founded Dhawan Associates — not simply as a business, but as a commitment to protecting every structure India was building.
Over 35 years, he built Dseal into India’s most trusted expansion joint system, forged authorized partnerships with the world’s most demanding brands, and established The Waterproofers Association of India — the body that sets the technical standards the entire industry follows today.
